Future Challenges in Integrative Structural Biology

Conference
Date: 24-May-2012

Contact: Marie-Christine Poterszman

The aim of this symposium is to discuss ongoing and future developments in the field of integrative structural biology. The presentations by leading scientists in the field will have a focus on the technological innovations for multi-resolution approaches, including developments in crystallography, NMR, cryo-electron microscopy, electron tomography, optical microscopy and hyper-resolution live imaging. The combination of such complementary approaches that also include instrumentation & software implementation is believed to help addressing major scientific question in the future, in particular those involving large macromolecular complexes, studied at molecular and cellular levels of resolution. The symposium, open to students, postdocs and researchers will include dedicated time for discussion with the speakers and a poster session.
