We routinely use HBM when expressing secretory proteins in insect cells. Your comments on better success rate, yields and quality with HEK is interesting. We haven't done a direct comparsion and would be great to see some of the data if you can share them.

 I wish express a protein of bovine origin and that needs to secreted out into the medium when grow in BHK-21 cells/ in vivo. but the protein does not have any signal peptide..can anyone suggest how to proceed.
