The Metalloproteins Unit of the Institut de Biologie Structurale de Grenoble, France is searching for a suitable candidate with experience in protein crystallography to apply for a permanent position with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Additional experience in bioinorganic chemistry would be very valuable. CNRS positions are awarded through a very competitive entry process so only outstanding candidates will stand a chance of being hired. Suitable applicants to join our group should ideally have between two to four years of post-doctoral experience and ten or more publications in well-established peer-reviewed journals. He or she is expected to participate in one of our current projects, which deal mainly with the structure and function of S-adenosyl-methionine (SAM) radical enzymes, other metalloenzymes and Fe-S cluster biogenesis and regulation.
