eBIC (electron Bio-Imaging Centre) and ePSIC (electron Physical Science Imaging Centre) at Diamond Light Source support scientists within National User Facilities in state of the art electron microscopy. Funded by the Wellcome Trust, the UK Medical Research and Biotechnology and Biology Research Councils, the University of Oxford and Johnson Matthey Plc., eBIC and ePSIC are currently the largest centres of this kind worldwide.
A position is available for a (Senior) Support Scientist to join this cross disciplinary centre. The post holder will support an international user programme by providing operational support as well as contributing to in-house research and development projects. They will also work with users and scientists at Diamond, the Research Complex at Harwell and RFI facilities.
