Peters Schuck's SEDFIT/SEDPHAT Workshop, Warsaw, September 19-23, 2016

Please mark your calendar for the

Workshop for the hydrodynamic and thermodynamic analysis of biological macromolecules and their interactions with SEDFIT and SEDPHAT

that will take place at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, Poland, September 19 – 23, 2016.

The workshop will cover experimental introductions, methodological lectures, computer data analysis exercises and one-on-one data analysis sessions on a range of biophysical methods, including sedimentation velocity and sedimentation equilibrium analytical ultracentrifugation, isothermal titration calorimetry, light and small angle scattering, SPR, and fluorescence.   We’ll discuss analysis of multi-protein complexes, membrane proteins, protein/nucleic acid interactions, trace aggregates, among other systems, and will have an opportunity to talk about the latest developments in AUC, such as variable-field AUC, fluorescence SV, and 3D printing.   Lecturers are:  Peter Schuck (NIH Bethesda),  Christine Ebel (IBS Grenoble), Rodolfo Ghirlando (NIH Bethesda), Marcin Nowotny (IIMBC Warsaw), Tomáš Obšil (Charles University Prague),  Grzegorz Piszczek (NIH Bethesda) and Huaying Zhao (NIH Bethesda).

This is a full regular SEDFIT/SEDPHAT workshop, as a European counterpart to the May workshop  at NIH.
