Documentation

West-Life supports the users of the structural biology tools by providing supporting documentation at a single place. Here you can find guides, tutorials to the tools and also pointers to where you can find more help.

West-Life authenticates users of its services via ARIA Single-Sign-On accounts. In some cases, ARIA SSO runs in parallel to older user registration systems which are specific to a particular site. Development of ARIA has been supported by Instruct, the European infrastructure for Structural Biology, and has been adopted by other projects including iNEXT, CORBEL and EMBRIC.

By registering for an ARIA account, you will gain access to a range of West-Life services, as well as services provided by other projects that have adopted ARIA. When you visit the first service in a browser session, you will be redirected to instruct-eric.eu where you can register or login. You will then remain logged in, and will have automatic access to all other ARIA-based services without having to log in again. Note however that the logged-in status will time out after a certain period of inactivity, in which case you will be redirected again to the login page.

Further details of the ARIA project can be found at http://aria.structuralbiology.eu/
