ARIA Version 2.1 Launched

29-Nov-2018

ARIA version 2.1 has been launched.

Version 2.1 brings many new features to ARIA, along with many behind-the-scenes improvements. Key features include:

New Customisable Admin Dashboard

When you arrive at the administration pages of ARIA (clicking “Your admin” at the bottom of one of our sites) you will see a simple one-page display of all of your pending actions in ARIA. What you see will depend upon who you are e.g. a reviewer will see a list of proposals awaiting their review, whilst a machine administrator would see a calendar of machine bookings in the coming week. The display is also customisable, and you can choose which elements will be displayed by clicking the “configure” button at the top left of the dashboard. Click here to view the Admin Dashboard.

New ARIA Help Guides

The ARIA help guides have been revamped. When you arrive at the help guides you select your role in ARIA (e.g. Centre Administrator) and you will then be shown a list of relevant guides. These guides are tagged with keywords and grouped into categories of similar guides which can be accessed from a convenient sidebar when viewing a guide. We ask for your feedback on each guide at the bottom of the page. Let us know if you found the guide helpful (Yes/No) and give us any other comments. We use your comments to continually improve the guides. Click here to view the guides.

Forums Launched

We have launched new forums for Instruct users, ARIA users, and Computational Structural Biology Software users. These forums provide a space for community discussions about a range topics. Anyone registered with us in ARIA can post in the forums and join the conversation. Click here to view the forums.

Admin Search

Search of the administration pages can be found in the top right corner of the admin pages in ARIA. Here you can navigate to proposals and visits by searching for PIDs, VIDs, and Titles. You can also search help guide material. Click here to see the admin search.

Enjoy the new version of ARIA!
