Doctoral level degree or equivalent experience
Strong working knowledge and track record of delivery in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery including delivery of candidates to Ph2 or beyond
Record of strong technical achievement in Structural Biology and Biophysics of ion channels and/or SLCs
Leadership a substantial chemistry group including a management team and record of excellent team participation
Successful application of novel technologies to improve productivity in medicinal chemistry
Effective execution of performance management practices
Strong working knowledge of other Research and Development Lines
Extensive experience in leading change and dealing with uncertainty
