The Division of Structural Biology (Strubi) is a global leader in research into the structure and function of cellular components and pathogens. The Division hosts Instruct, a European Research Infrastructure that provides access to high quality integrated structural biology facilities for research projects.

Applications are invited for Instruct Website Administrative Assistant who will be part of the Strubi IT and Instruct Operations team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Strubi and Instruct websites, including Instruct’s online proposal access system. You should have a degree or equivalent experience in computer design and functionality, including some development skills in PHP and the use of current technologies (HTML4/5, XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX and XML). Experience of Drupal7 is particularly important. This role demands fast reactivity and delivery of results to schedule, therefore the ability to organise and prioritise work is essential.

This role is central to a very broad range of scientific research and administrative objectives in Strubi and provides a rewarding and creative environment for the right person.

The position is fixed-term, for 2 years in the first instance, and is funded by Instruct Academic Services Ltd.
