The postdoc is expected to participate in seminars, journal clubs, weekly lab meetings, and prepare and submit manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.
The applicant must hold a Ph.D., and have research experience in biochemistry, structural biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, or related field. Expertise in nucleic acids, protein biochemistry, and recombinant DNA techniques is highly desirable. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working collaboratively with other lab members. The individual will receive a competitive salary with benefits and work in an excellent environment.
Qualified applicants should submit a CV, a cover letter summarising research experience and research interests, and the names of three references to Dr. Jon M. Kaguni (firstname.lastname@example.org). Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. The start date for the position is Spring/Summer 2021.
