FORMA Therapeutics, Inc. is currently seeking to recruit highly motivated, talented, scientist for our laboratories in Watertown, Massachusetts, USA. This position requires an individual with an exceptional grasp on current state of the art of protein crystallization and biophysical characterization of small molecule interactions with protein targets including Biacore and thermal shift methodologies, as well as other biophysical characterization techniques. The individual must also be well acquainted with the current status of out-sourcing opportunities both within and outside of the US for protein X-ray crystallography and biophysical characterization.
This position will involve coordination of the biophysical screening across Forma’s broad range of targets and approaches as well as hands-on protein crystallization. Input into Forma’s research directions & into the achievement of Forma goals is expected.
The successful candidate will have well-honed people management skills, be very well organized, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate must have the desire and ability to work in a multi-site, research-focused environment as an integral leader within the overall drug discovery community at Forma.
