OPEN SESAME TRAINING FELLOWSHIPS FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS

The ALBA Synchrotron is coordinating the work package 3 of the OPEN SESAME project, aimed at building lightsource know-how and knowledge among young researchers. Call now open till 7th July 2017.

The OPEN SESAME project, funded by the European Union to support the training needs of the SESAME Light Source, offers a short term Fellowships programme for young researchers.

The Fellowships could take place at any of the OPEN SESAME European facilities (Soleil, CERN, ALBA, CNRS-Ipanema, Instruct, INFN, ELETTRA, DESY and CYI). They will start at early 2018 and will range between 4 to 12 weeks.

A minimum of 9 Fellowships will be funded, covering travel expenses (1.000€) and living allowances (700 € per week).

Applicants must be nationals of SESAME members (Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan, Palestinian Authority and Turkey) and must be enrolled in a Master or PhD programme in a SESAME Member organization.
