This course fits in the 3D-Bioinfo ELIXIR initiative and it will bring together computational and experimental (bio)chemistry experts who will give comprehensive lectures on understanding and engineering enzyme catalysis. Hands-on practical sessions will be focused on how to use state-of-the-art software and webservers, including PROSS, FuncLib, EBI enzyme portal, qFIT and qFIT-ligand, CAVER and DynaComm. These tutorials are complemented by lectures on the EVB and QM/MM methods. In addition, experimental researchers will give lectures on how these in silico approaches have successfully guided them towards finding answers concerning their research on enzyme catalysis.
